NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN MOMENT! William, Catherine & Their 3 Children Share UNEXPECTED Sweet Christmas Memory Inside Their NEW Home In Windsor

In the crisp autumn air of Windsor Great Park, a new chapter is beginning for the Wales family. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have delivered exactly the kind of heartwarming moment royal fans adore—a festive glimpse of pure joy as they prepare for their very first Christmas season in the family’s new home.

Earlier this year, the Prince and Princess of Wales said goodbye to their modest four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage. Now, they’ve settled into Forest Lodge, a far grander and more tranquil residence tucked deep within Windsor’s serene greenery. This 328-year-old Grade II–listed Georgian mansion—twice the size of their previous home—offers the space, privacy, and quiet needed for their future roles.

As December approaches, George (12), Charlotte (10), and Louis (7) have already set the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable first Christmas in what many insiders call their “forever home.” Just days after their relocation wrapped up in early November 2025, the three siblings were said to be delighted by one special outing: choosing Christmas trees at the Windsor Great Park Christmas Tree Shop, only minutes from their doorstep.

Picture the three of them laughing as they debate the perfect tree—George suggesting a full, bushy spruce, Charlotte eyeing a taller, elegant fir, and Louis perhaps choosing the smallest one just for his room. With the shop offering everything from miniature children’s trees to towering firs fit for grand hallways, the outing subtly revealed how Forest Lodge’s scale is shaping new family traditions. Each child now has room to create a cozy, personalized Christmas corner of their own.

The move stirred memories of past holiday décor at Kensington Palace. Last year, a beautifully decorated tree was spotted during a royal engagement—classic red-and-white ornaments, warm golden lights, and a festive garland nearby. Simple, elegant, unmistakably the Wales family’s style.

But insiders say Forest Lodge brings a different ambiance entirely: quieter, more intimate, a cocoon of privacy. Prince William, in particular, is said to be devoted to creating a sanctuary where public duties fade away and his children can build memories free from formality.

Meanwhile, the wider royal estate is also shifting into Christmas mode. Windsor Castle unveiled its annual decorations on November 20th, preparing to welcome visitors from November 27th through January 5th with towering trees and dazzling silver displays—a festive backdrop to the Wales family’s more private celebration. While the final Sandringham guest list wasn’t yet confirmed, expectations remained high that William, Catherine, and their children would join King Charles and Queen Camilla for the traditional Christmas gathering—continuing a cherished family rhythm that blends public appearances with personal connection.

Looking to December 5th, attention also turns to Princess Catherine’s beloved Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey—now in its fifth year. Some 1,600 guests, including dignitaries, celebrities, and community heroes, will gather for music, choral performances, and readings centered on love and connection. Actress Kate Winslet is among those set to take part, as Catherine once again highlights acts of compassion and community warmth throughout the UK.

As the Wales family continues to settle into Forest Lodge, this first Christmas marks the beginning of a new era—one filled with warmth, laughter, and traditions George, Charlotte, and Louis will carry into the future. The image of the three siblings decorating their Christmas tree together in their new home has already charmed admirers worldwide.

And as the festive season unfolds, it’s clear that the Wales family is embracing their new sanctuary with joy, gratitude, and an abundance of Christmas spirit.
